The Dry Bulk Shipping industry is vital for the prosperity of people all over the world, as it transports approximately 55% of the global transport work, serving essential needs, such as food and energy supply.

On the occasion of the completion of its 40th Anniversary (1980-2020), INTERCARGO- The International Association of Dry Cargo Shipowners has organised a webinar in order to present the most significant lessons learned, as well as, the major trends that have -and are expected to- shape the dry bulk shipping industry, in the years to come.

The webinar was broadcasted live for INTERCARGO members, guests and an international audience. Our Association was honoured to host an opening address by Mr Kitack Lim, Secretary-General of the International Maritime Organization (IMO).
